Yesterday was a long day – a loved one went under the knife and at the end of the day, I drove down to Palisade Park to process.  It’s one of my favorite places to unwind – the bluff above PCH.  It was a chilly day (by Southern California standards; 62 degrees) and windy.  The sun was setting, several sailboats were out, and it was very peaceful looking over the expansive Pacific.  You could see El Segundo, Redondo, all the way down to Palos Verdes (although slightly hidden by the clouds).  Last night I laid down at 8PM to put the little down to bed and fell asleep, waking up at 330AM.  It’s now 430AM and I’m posting yesterday’s picture 4 and half hours past my self imposed timeline, but the shot was taken yesterday! 🙂
