I’m practicing off camera flash lighting now and am having a heck of a time! Certain folks say “Manual is the only way to go, you aren’t a pro if you aren’t manual”. Then the other side; “ETTL saves a step or two, is incredibly fast (especially for event photography or street photography), but I’m challenged when I get the flash off camera for ETTL. I tried many different subjects tonight, different lighting patterns, etc., but am having a heck of a time, so I went to ‘constant light’ for this Masterlock shot.
