Today was a long day, woke up at 3AM and got caught up with my ‘day job’, had coffee with a friend who helped remind me to not just live in ‘awareness’, but actually make decisions followed by actions, watched my son’s baseball game (his third this week), and then closed out the day with a little practice with light painting. I’ve done this type of shot before with a sparkler, and it definitely is easier with a very bright, narrow light compared with some ambient light and a dull flashlight! Anyway, in the next couple of weeks I’d like to head out to the desert and practice some light painting. The challenge in this was to actually have a recognizable name appear (mine), in focus, dot the ‘i’, and not have my arm in the picture. Given the self imposed restrictions and the fact that I’m very sleepy, I’m happy with the results! 🙂
Shot with Canon 5D3, 70-200mm f/2.8L, 100mm, f/9.0, 13″, ISO 100.
