I went to go watch my son practice for his high school baseball team. This is his first year playing at this level. Generally, I tend to take action shots or something of that effect to practice, or catch a great swing or a catch. However, the entrance to the field had the most vivid, bright purple, and beautiful flowers! Considering again that it’s the end of February, the weather is in the mid ’70s, and we were at the North Venice Little League field that has a bit of a view of the Pacific Ocean, I was taken aback with the vibrance. Another reason why I love photography so much – in one small area, there are a ton of opportunities, each telling a piece of a story. Today’s story is just taking time to admire God’s beauty!
Shot with Canon 5DmkIII, 50mm f/1.2, 50mm, f/2.2, ISO 100, 1/800o”. I wanted to maintain a shallow depth of field to blur the beautiful shades and focus on just one flower. Hope you enjoy!
love the angle! and of course, beautiful subject
Thank you very much!
