Today was the last day in Catalina. We had a great breakfast overlooking the vast Pacific and the shoreline of the mainland, then headed down to the spa for an amazing massage. Completely relaxed and rubbed down in aromatherapy, back to the Inn for lunch and rest out on the deck for an hour or so. We flew out of Avalon and didn’t see much marine life this go around, but coming into Long Beach Harbor the port was teeming with cargo ships and bustling with activity, even on a Sunday. We flew over this tanker on our way to touchdown.
