Last night I laid down with my little one to put him to bed. Well, daddy was out first at 8pm, so I didn’t get to take my picture. I made it 110 STRAIGHT days of 1x picture per day! So today, I will post two. I went down to the Santa Monica pier which is a few blocks from my house. The moon isn’t quite full, but sitting on the horizon during the transition from ‘civil’ to ‘nautical’ dusk (after the golden hour), it was beautiful. The colors were glorious tonight. So tonight’s images, I wanted to take advantage of the colors and while I’m normally not a fan of over-saturation, I juiced up the HDR, colors, vibrance, contrast a bit and slightly dialed down clarity. Processed in Lightroom.
