Today I got up a bit early and headed to Griffith Park Observatory to watch the sun rise. It’s roughly a 35 minute drive from the Westside and unfortunately, I got there after the sun already broke above the horizon, but still during the golden hour. Seeing downtown submerged in the fog was a great site, one we don’t see too often. I created a panorama with 10 photos so that I can enlarge the photo for a wall printing and still maintain detail. I will be coming back to shoot when the fog isn’t there, but today was definitely a unique view! I love the observatory and the fact that it’s free, open early and late (parking at least), is a huge boon, especially in Los Angeles! If you ever make it to Los Angeles, this should be on the top of your list to see!
