Day 1 of my journey. My wife, little one, and I went for a hike up Paseo MiraMar above Sunset Boulevard and Malibu. I’d say I’m out of shape, but my wife reminded my that round was in fact a shape, so I suppose I’m in shape for this hike! 🙂
I also tried my hand at photo stitching in photoshop – from downtown LA to the Santa Monica Bay. The light was harsh – (2PM shoot time), but I was there more for the exercise, company, and spending time with my wife and son. I snapped 13 photos with the Canon 5DmkIII and Canon 50mm f1.2 lens and stitched in Photoshop. See them here: (https://www.flickr.com/photos/lamediaman/)
The above shot is my son – shot with Canon 5DmkIII + 50mm 1.2 lens, one of the brief moments he wasn’t getting a horsey ride from mommy or me, or being shuttled in the ‘Bob’ jogger.
